Zoro X Reader Strange Behavior

Zoro and yourself walked down the crowded street of a nameless island, Zoro needed to get his swords sharpened, while you were going to shop for more clothes, your previous wardrobe tended to become shreds while you fought with enemies. It was rather annoying and expensive to replace your clothes once ever three months.

You and Zoro had been dating for about two and a half years, you had been with him through all his training, his battles, thriller bark, and you were even there when the crew separated. When the crew met back in Sabody Archipelago, you were over joyed to see that Zoro had made it through the two years.

However...ever since two weeks ago, Zoro had been acting strange. Naturally, you knew that Zoro wasn't the social type. He mostly kept to himself, but with you he was talkative. You couldn't help but wonder what was going through Zoro's head right now. The silence between you two was starting to become unbearable. You thought about suggesting a visit to the docs to watch the sunset, but Zoro had already beaten you to the punch.

"Let's head up to the hill, I don't like these over crowded streets." Zoro took your hand and lead you away to the hill that he had pointed out. There was a blooming Sakura tree and the light of the sunset hit the arch of the tree limb perfectly, making it a very romantic setting.
You blushed at the sheer beauty of it, almost losing yourself in the magic. You noticed in the corner of your eye you saw that Zoro was staring at you, as if he was taking in your beauty and the beauty of the sunset.

"Zoro? Are you ok?" You asked, taking your eyes off the sunset and staring at Zoro's dark eyes. He said nothing, and took your hand in his, leading you to under the Sakura tree and helped you sit down. He also sat down next to you, putting his swords down to rest against the bark of the tree. Now you were worried, Zoro hadn't said anything the entire time you were here.

"What's going on Zoro?" You asked worriedly, Zoro tried to put your worries at ease by moving stray strands of hair out of our face and behind your ear. This didn't put your worries at ease at all, in fact, his actions and silence were making it worse.

"Zoro I can't take the silence anymore, tell me what is going through your head." You begged, grabbing a hold of his hand. Zoro smiled sweetly and put a finger over you lips, telling you to be quiet as he looked back at the sunset. He nodded, pleased about some element, and turned back to you, speaking finally.

"(Name), We've spent two and a half years together. You and I have been through so much, and I missed you terribly when the crew separated. So..." Zoro let go of your hand and searched his coat and haramaki pulling out something small and cubical. You covered your mouth with both hands to prevent an embarrassing gasp from escaping your lips. But Zoro could tell by the tears forming in your eyes, that you were extremely happy about what he was about to do, giving him the confidence to continue.

"(Name)....I can't imagine a life with out you. Will you, marry me?" Zoro asked, opening the small box to reveal a (fave gem) ring. Your voice was completely stolen away, so all you could do was nod and smile widely. Zoro also smiled while placing the ring on the proper finger. After which you tackled Zoro, hugging him tightly, knocking him on to his back while laughing and crying and kissing as the sun set, let the Sakura blossoms fall as the breeze kicked in. Sending blossoms all over the hill, making this spot, the most romantic place on the island.
